As a Shenandoah Valley native, Matt has held a passion for his community his entire life. He grew up on a small farm in Rockingham County, attended Spotwood High School, and graduated from Virginia Tech. Upon graduating, he and his wife Kirsten returned to the place that held their hearts – home.
With a dedicated career in business, Matt has grown to appreciate lasting connections as the cornerstone of his day-to-day life. He strives to lead with a servant’s heart and utilize his experience to bring value to the lives of others.

In 2020, he and his wife built their first home together in the Broadway community, and have come to truly appreciate the beauty and warmth of their local community.
